What can WSBF do to save the bees? 
1. WSBF is at the heart of the movement for declaring the14th of September the INTERNATIONAL BEES’ PROTECTION DAY.
The establishment of the Bees’ Protection Day will let us join the efforts of the whole world to save the bees. Within the bounds of this holiday there is an opportunity to implement the national projects, certain programs and events, which will draw public attention to this problem.
Anyone can contribute to the establishment of the INTERNATIONAL BEES’ PROTECTION DAY. Vote for it on the website www.save-bee.com, in the section “Bees’ Protection Day” and get a personal certificate for your active support. Today there are over 5 250 people who have voted. Being together we can solve the most difficult problems!
2. WSBF attracts attention of the wide public that is not indifferent to the imbalance of nature and therefore to the issue of saving bees. It is necessary to put it in the limelight that in pursuit of momentary increase in the harvest effectiveness and profit people “saw the branch the humanity is sitting on”.
With the help of the concerned people WSBF develops its website where it places the latest information about bees and beekeeping. At the moment the site is in the Russian, English and German languages.
WSBF is planning to start publications and noncommercial advertising of healthy lifestyle with the extensive consumption of bee products in the Russian and world mass media. This information wave will emphasize the advantages of beekeeping products which are harmless and useful for health and wealth.
3. WSBF has already started popularizing beekeeping as an occupation. WSBF plans to distribute popular books about beekeeping. Particularly in Russia WSBF provides informative support of the project “Agrarian franchise”. This program has been worked out for organization of beekeeping business and distribution of guidelines on beekeeping.
4. WSBF pays special attention to the support of scientific researches and development in beekeeping. WSBF plans to support the work on selection carried out in different countries. The global aim of this work is preservation of healthy bees resistant to known diseases. This branch has just started to develop as an independent and self-sufficient trend and we can await for amazing and breaking discoveries in this sphere.
5. WSBF is going to cooperate with concerned organizations and institutions of global monitoring in the field of beekeeping, to organize prevention of bees’ diseases, to carry out a specialized control of honey bees’ health in order to influence the situation efficiently in all countries on the base of statistic data and regular calculation of healthy and diseased bees.
6. WSBF has just started to form its voluntary movement. Volunteers (from the French «volontaire» - volunteer) are active people who are extending help in the movement to preserve bees on a voluntary and gratuitous basis. Organization of WSBF’s events is just impossible without the work of volunteers as they are the main power and support of the Fund. The main branches of the voluntary movement are participation in signature gathering to address authorities, participation in educational programmes, help in organizing new apiaries, informational support of the project “Agrarian franchise” and agitation for the enactment of state and regional laws and regulations aimed at the support of beekeeping.
7. In perspective WSBF plans to start the online-shop for selling WSBF’s souvenirs, unique books, brochures and magazines about beekeeping, stickers supporting WSBF. The returns from the sale of the products will be committed to the objective projects of the Fund.

We believe that anything you do for saving bees, popularizing beekeeping and beekeeping products, can contribute to saving the variety of these amazing insects, realizing the importance of the role on the Earth and health improvement of the whole mankind!

You can become a volunteer of WSBF and make your own contribution to the matter of saving the bees!
