The nomination is “For long-term research work on the promotion of bee products and apitherapy”. Stefan Bogdanov have participated in working out the criteria of honey quality helping the customer to get the product of good quality corresponding with the all international certificates. The main branches of Bogdanov’s work are identification of the product’s genuineness, the geographical and botanical origin of honey, the study of honeydew honey and organic honey. |
| Nikolay Krivtsov (Russia, Rybnoye) - Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, professor, the head of the Russian Research Institute of Apiculture.
The nomination is “For long-term research work on beekeeping development”. Nikolay Krivtsov is one of Russia's leading scientists in the sphere of beekeeping and breeding. He has published nearly 350 works on biology, breeding, technology and other issues of beekeeping (including 2 monographs, 20 books and textbooks). In 2000 N. Krivtsov was awarded with the State Prize of the Russian Federation in the field of science and technology for the work “Development of scientific bases and technologies of mass production of biologically active organic bee products”, and in 2004 - the Prize of the Russian government in education. In 2007 he was elected an academician of the RAAS. |

NailyaKhismatullina (Russia, Perm) - an apiterapist, Vice-President of the "Tentorium" Apicompany on medical issues, Honored Doctor of the Russian Federation. The nomination “For special contribution to the development of apitherapy”. Nailya Khismatullina is one of the most experienced and respected experts in the field of acupuncture and apitherapy. She is the author of the book "Practical apitherapy” and over 20 articles on apitherapy and bee products treatment. She has a gold medal of the Russian Natural Science Academy in the name of E. Dashkova "For a special contribution to the adaptation of women in modern society." |

Peter Lenk was one of the first to support the creation of the World Save Bee Fund. Due to his active participation the Fund was registered in Germany, and the matter of saving the bees has acquired a truly international scale. |
